About
Our popular Completely Clear Kayaks are a great way to kick back, relax and explore a 365 view of the beauty the surrounds you. These vessels while shaped much like a canoe, are paddled like a kayak. Unlike traditional kayaks, our Completely Clear Kayaks are not designed for speed or agility and therefore should not be taken far nor used in choppy water conditions. All of our Completely Clear Kayaks come equip with an adjustable seat and cupholders. These vessels can be seated for 1 or 2 participants (limitations apply).
Please Note: There are strict rental limitations for our completely clear kayaks. Guests who with to paddle further or enjoy a longer rental duration should opt for a clear bottom kayak or guided tour.

When to Visit
These vessels are suitable for the early morning when the water is calm and glassy. It is strongly advised to arrive early to obtain park entry. The Sand Harbor Nevada State Park does get busy and is subject to capacity closures very early in the morning June-September.
What to Wear
It is highly recommended that guests wear light layers and shoes that can be removed easily. Guests should be prepared for the possibility of getting wet and should dress accordingly. Hats, sunscreen and sunglasses are highly recommended.
Age Limitations
Age and weight restrictions do apply. All participants must be over the age of 5+ (no exceptions). Guests must be 12 years or older to paddle in their own rental vessel. Guests 5-11 must be accompanied by an adult 18+. All participants under the age of 18 must be supervised by a parent or legal guardian at all times.
Capacity Limitations
There is a combined weight limitation for each vessel. 2 guests, Maximum Weight Capacity 350 lbs.
